Swappity Swap is a token swap protocol for token swap protocols.

2021 has seen the sudden and extreme rise of decentralized token swap and token exchange protocols. Swap protocols today account for about $20B USD in liquidity, as well as $30B in total value of native protocol tokens. Yet the vast majority of liquidity for the protocol tokens themselves is siloed on their respective exchanges.

Swappity Swap congregates native swap protocol token liquidity on the Swappity Swap protocol, beginning with token swap protocols living on EVM compatible chains. How do we plan to do this? By swapping our native token, SWAPPITY, for each protocol’s native token, and adding liquidity for the respective pairs on both protocols. Everyone wins!

We see other swap protocols not as competitors, but as potential collaborators. Swappity Swap will rise in tandem with the tide of swap protocols.

$SWAPPITY is the Swappity Swap protocol’s native currency. It is used for Swappity Swap services, distributed as a reward to contributors, and empowers holders to govern the protocol.

Swappity Swap App

The Swappity Swap app lets users swap all manner of tokens. It is a fork of UniswapV2. UniswapV2 is a well-tested and robust platform that has been forked by many other swap protocol’s. It serves as a stable foundation for our meta-swap ecosystem.

General token swaps

The platform will allow token swaps between any compatible token, similar to other major swap protocol’s.

Swaps between swap protocols

SwappitySwap will provide large liquidity pools for direct swaps between every legitimate swap protocol’s native token. E.g Uniswap <---> Sushiswap, BurgerSwap <---> PancakeSwap

Multi chain swaps

SwappitySwap will launch on Ethereum main net, Polygon, BSC, xDai, RSK, and provide swaps on all of them. More chains will be added in the future.

NFT Swaps

A future platform is proposed where users can swap NFT’s directly from each other.

SWAPPITY Bridge

The SWAPPITY Bridge will let users transfer $SWAPPITY between different chains, and access liquidity pools on each chain.

Initial Swap Offering

The Initial Swap offering is the liquidity bootstrapping and initial distribution phase of SwappitySwap, designed to bring as much liquidity as possible to the Swappity Swap platform while distributing $SWAPPITY to holders who value it.

The ISO works by creating token swap agreements to swap $SWAPPITY for other tokens. The token swap gets executed trustlessly in a smart contract in a single transaction. We then add both tokens into a liquidity pair on the Swappity Swap platform, as well as on the other swap protocol if applicable.

Swap Chain

Swap Chain is SwappitySwap’s proposed future blockchain created using Cosmos SDK. Swap Chain will have $SWAPPITY as its native currency, and be EVM compatible. Cheap and efficient swaps will be possible on Swap Chain, so it will be ideal to run DEX’s.

Platform

$SWAPPITY will be used onchain to swap for all other currencies available. A new Swap protocol and Platform will be developed, drawing from the best innovations among other

Swap Protocols, and including new functionality that allows people to trade by sending transactions directly to QR codes without connecting to a dApp.

SWAPPITY migration

$SWAPPITY holders will have the ability to either lock or burn their tokens and receive freshly minted $SWAPPITY in return. All $SWAPPITY belonging to the Swappity DAO will be migrated to Swap Chain in this way.

$SWAPPITY can also be burnt on Swap Chain to unlock tokens on other chains, thus creating a two way bridge between.

Consensus Mechanism

Swap Chain will be Proof of Stake and bootstrap itself with a set of pre-approved validators, which consist of $SWAPPITY holders. The validators will have either burnt or locked their tokens before being supplied with fresh $SWAPPITY on Swap Chain. The validators will provide decentralized consensus by validating transactions against the rules and against each other.

Token Migration

$SWAPPITY that exists on various chains can simply be burnt, and the proof submitted to SwappityChain to mint fresh tokens.
